I have two memories of Christmas decorations from my childhood. The other is a Santa Claus shaped statue my mom always lifted up the table when December started. And I didn’t like it at all, I thought it looked a bit scary even.
The other is a music box style hanging ornament my grandparents had. When you pulled the thread underneath the ornament played “Silent Night”. It was a huge red, metallic ball so when I started to create this ornament, I had that in mind. Instead of making a glittery or shiny ball, I covered a Styrofoam ball with blooms!
