Berlin - Artists Live

Hi there! How's your November started? As the days get shorter here in the North it seems that I have more and more to do! Oh how I long those numerous daylight hours during summer! So much easier to take project photos, for example! But on the other hand, it really feels calming that we have a great change in the seasons. I'm really accustomed to it and feel that it's an essential part of me.

But back to the subject! This colorful layout was done during an Artists Live Ustream show about a week ago. The photo on the project is taken in Berlin, thus the title of the page. I used a black and white photo to calm the colors I was using in the background and in the title. Or to set them really blooming, creating a nice contrast.

You can see the announcement post of the class here (link) with the materials list. And you can watch the recording of the show either in the Ustream channel (link) or in YouTube (link). We upload all our videos also to YouTube as it might be easier for some viewers. I also added the recording here underneath in case you want to see what I used to create the watercolor styled background. The answer may take you by surprise!

Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a lovely day!

Materials: 7 Dots Studio, Prima Marketing, A Flair for Buttons, Scrap FX, Teippitarha, Epiphany Crafts, American Crafts, Ranger

You are such a Macgyver... Watersoluble oil pastels mixed into the gel! That's awesome! I love the colour combo - that yellow is so nice and vibrant. Very cool layout! And I especially loved hearing your voice!
