Unique - 7 Dots Studio

Hello and good evening! How's your day been? The month has changed and there's more and more autumn in the air. Oh, I can't wait for the leaves start turning colorful!

Today I'm together with Melenia over at 7 Dots Studio blog. I'm sharing this page together with a vide there! The topic of the page is my older daughter. She hears a lot how she resembles her mother (aka me) when she was little. I decided to do this page about her and how unique she is. Because even though there are lot of things that we have in common, she also has her own unique features.

As she’s our little princess, I used pink and white and made a pastel colored page. The layers underneath the photo are a mix of Domestic Goddess, Illumination and All I Ever. The background paper is from Domestic Goddess collection, but it was just a little too overpowering as such. So I treated the paper first with white gesso. But please watch the video underneath to see how the page came into being!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a creative day or evening, depending when you are reading this!

Ps. New month also means a new challenge at Scrap Around The World! This time the moodboard is really magical! Please go over and have a look (link)!
