Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Sunny Saturday! I hope your weekend has started well! I'm working today and have a workshop tomorrow - keeping busy this weekend!

This layout I originally created for PaperHaus, but as the magazine ended, I'm sharing it with you now. It was planned to go in a color gallery and I really like the combination of peachy orange, lilac and tender green! Have to use similar palette at some point in another piece, too!

The topic of the layout is my first born and she having fun. For the journaling I interviewed her and asked what she likes and what she thinks is fun. The photo is taken last summer when the girls enjoyed trying out different shades at a clothing store.

I started the page by applying gesso to the patterned paper and then used mists to have a touch of color there. On top I stamped with a date stamp and a stamp by 3rd Eye. I also used pencil to make the circular doodlings and then drew little shapes with a Pitt pen. I also used mists to stamp circles to the page.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a fun day!
