Another "What are you feeling" challenge has been published in the Mixed Media Place's blog. This time the topic is sadness.
I thought to take another go with the lady canvas. As the previous one was happy and bright, the theme "sadness" was a great challenge. Because I wanted to have a sad feeling to the canvas, I arranged the flowers and other ephemera this time as her headpiece not her hair. That way I could arrange her hair falling straight down. I used blues and turquoises to get a watery feeling and then added some yellow, brown and black to the mix as she was sad that the flowers in her hair have faded. The tears are made with Glossy Accent.
Ps. This piece of music (link) has been playing in my head since Friday night when I happened to hear it over the radio. The lyrics are in Finnish and tell about sorrow - how it should be treated as an honored, wise guest.

Naisen kyyneleet on tehty Glossy Accentilla.
Ps. Suruun liittyen - tämä kappale (linkki) on soinut päässäni perjantaiyöstä saakka jolloin satuin kuulemaan sen radiosta.
