Faarila - SATW

It's the new month and that means also a new challenge at Scrap Around The World! The challenge eight is hosted by Design Team member Zaneta Glowa aka Zanka from Sweden! As usual we have secured some very awesome prizes for you again this month so I hope that you will play along for a chance to snag some of them!

We all know how busy the month of December is so the rules have been changed for this month only - you can enter the challenge with a tag or a ATC as well! And there is no limit on the size of your layouts, canvases or art journal spreads! We in the SATW understand that this month is about spending time with your families, creating memories to be scrapped in the future, so we are trying to help you save time and still get the chance to be creative, just in a shorter time frame if necessary!

As usual, feel free to interpret Zanka's mood board in any way you like, using one image, several of them, all of them or even just one aspect of an image, using any colors! The sketch is optional. When entering, please let us know how you were inspired. You might want to read our 10 GOLDEN RULES before you begin.

To be eligible for judging please include in your blog post:
1) Our mood board image.
2) Our name "Scrap Around The World"  and a link back to this current challenge.
Please link to your blog post, not your entire blog and please turn off word-verification if you would like some of our Design Team members to comment on your entry.

Please scroll down to see the fabulous prizes this month!

Here's my take on the challenge and the sketch. I was inspired by the frames, the rustic feel, the golden details, the colors, the delicate flowers and the doily like shape behind the lady's head. The layout is about a house my father now lives and which is his childhood home. There's all sorts of little details I also remember about the house as we have been visiting there since I was born.

Materials: Canvas Corp, Talens, Tattered Angels, Prima Marketing, 7 Dots Studio, ColorConspiracy, Epiphany Crafts, Ranger, Stampin' Up!, MT Masking Tape
