The key to the sweet robin in this window is patience and time. Polystyne egg and a cardboard cylinder are being transformed into a beautiful piece of Holiday decoration in the skilful hands of Morag.

Avain tämän luukun suloiseen punarintaan on kärsivällisyys ja aika. Styroksmuna ja wc-rulla muuntuvat Moragin taitavissa käsissä kauniiksi jouluiseksi asetelmaksi.

My name is Morag Cutts and I live in the UK with my family – a very understanding hubby and two children. I have been hooked on scrapbooking ever since I created my first page 6 years ago. Anything goes in scrapping and so many things can be incorporated onto a page which means my wonky lines are all part of the fun! Building up layers and texture is definitely one of my favourite things on a page. Stamping, inks and patterned papers will always be my favourite elements although I am particularly partial to punches at the moment especially border punches.

I am fortunate enough to be in my dream job as Assistant Editor on Scrap365 Magazine where, I get to indulge my passion and see the beautiful projects first-hand.

I started Stash Panache this year making Boutique Buttons - gorgeous flair badges that can be popped onto a page or project to give it a little wow factor! With lots more designs and ideas in the pipeline - watch this space!

My blog is filled with the things I love and inspiration and I would love for you to join me at Scrapbook-Junkie.blogspot.com

"Robins are regular visitors to our garden and they are the friendliest birds imaginable. My version of a Robin doesn’t really bear any resemblance to the real thing, but I wanted to capture their cheeky personality in my birdie.

I started off with a polystyrene egg (from a craft store). To cover it I punched out hundreds of hearts in brown and red – I chose a patterned paper (My Mind’s Eye) that also had a little glitter effect. Using the punched shapes, it was easy to cover the egg in the design. Just add a blob of PVA glue and put the heart in place.

By placing the point of the heart at the bottom, it kind of gives a feathered effect. I laid my shapes in rows to give an even effect. This is much easier than it may look although a little time consuming!

His wings are just made from a piece of card also covered in punched hearts. Add a couple of pins for his eyes, a cocktail stick for his nose (coloured with ink).

You may have guessed that the post box is made from a loo roll covered with paper and card. I hot glued tiny flowers from Manor House Creations so that they trailed over the top.

Mix in some leaves and tiny pine cones and sprinkle texture paste and glitter over for a frosty feel.

Tiny presents and letters are waiting to be posted (don’t tell the robin that they won’t fit through the letterbox)."
