Kyky nähdä / Ability to see

Tällainen sivu syntyi CSIn haasteeseen numero 32. Sävyt olivat ihan valtavan ihanat ja raikkaat. Aiheeni tuli haasteessa olleesta William Blaken runosta, jonka kirjoittelin geelikynällä suomeksi tuohon otsikon alle.

This is my page to CSI challenge # 32. The colours in this challenge were great and airy. My LO was inspired by the poem by William Blake that was quoted in the challenge. The poem is written in Finnish under the title, "To see a world in a grain of sand / And a heaven in a wild flower / Hold infinity in the palm of your hand / And eternity in an hour". The journaling is about how children see the world in a grain of sand and how they look at the world differently from us adults. The journaling is in the tag behind the photo.

I started the making of this page by doing those little stars with modellling paste. While working with the page I happened to lay it over the paper by My Mind's Eye and then thought the combination looked nice. Fortunately I had situated the stars so that I could cut the stripy paper smaller!

There's many paper strips behind the photo as well as a decorative pin and even a small peg. The use of those tag hole strenghteners (I don't know what they are called in English) I have seen in some blogs. Actually mine aren't the real thing - I cut a little circle with a punch by Stampin'Up and then a hole to it with Fiskar's punch.

Thank you Eila :) I just love the star punchinella - it works so fine as a stencil with modelling paste!
