CSI # 34

The light, airy layouts by Janna Werner are such an inspiration. For the newest CSI challenge I tried her way of placing the papers and the photo. The end result is cute, but I think her pages look a lot better than mine, so I shall keep to the familiar way of arranging the pieces to the background.

The colours are from the challenge as well as the topic. The challenge contained lovely pastel shades and one of the journaling points was to document how I relax. My journaling is about how it's lovely to bury your toes to the warm sand while sitting and watching children play at the sand box. A little way to relax.

I have chosen three things from the "Evidence" - stripes, wet media and watercolors. The stripes are in the papers, wet media in the splashes I made with gesso and ink sprays and I used watercolors to color that embossed paper. Although I have to say that I used so light colours they are hard to see in the photo - in  real life they show well.

I've once again used one button by Stach Panache in this layout - Morag wrote so sweetly about me in her blog, that it brought tears to my eyes.

Kuuma hiekka varpaiden alla on ihan parhautta! :)
