Hello you guys! It's a new week again and that means a set of new posts. Today I'm sharing a couple of cards made with some left-overs spiced with some ephemera. Let me guide you through the layers.
The bottom layer for the both is a gel print - both are left-overs from previous projects or even clean out prints. The next layer on top is then cut from an Idea-ology Backdrop with some Strips layered on top. Then there's a lovely vintage portrait of a boy on each peeking through a left-over piece from these cards (link). As you can see, I followed the color scheme of the die cut piece throughout the card. The pattern on top of the piece is done with a PaperArtsy stamp and Ranger embossing powder. The embellishments include a piece of washi tape and then a tea bag label as kind of sentiment. I've been saving these for a while and with my new found "use it, don't stash it" way, I decided to put them into use!
Thank you for stopping by today!
Materials: Tim Holtz Idea-ology, Ranger, PaperArtsy
