Happy Friday! Today I have a process video to share with you, as Friday's tend to have. This time the video is done for A.B.Studio and I'm creating an autumn assemblage with stamped leaves, die cut peonies and stamped toadstools. If you want to see how I created the project, please see the video underneath!
I'm not sure if you noticed, but I was thinking of adding a vintage photo to the project, too. It was on the craft table beside me when I was building the composition. But there wasn't any room for that and the project looked fine with just nature elements, so I left it out.
Even though I made the composition quite dimensional with the foam tape and layering, I still wanted something dimensional as itself to the project. Does that make any sense? I mean the composition is dimensional with the layers, but the layers themselves are quite flat, mainly just paper. So I finished the piece with some spheres, some little nuts.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a fantastic weekend!
