Moikka moi! Last Saturday I kept a FB live and used gesso in a couple of ways while making this autumn project. The sample project was a bit more colorful, but I decided to make this one in more of tea tones. You can see the sample in the announcement post (link).
If you were unable to join the live, you can see the recording underneath. As you can see from it, I used gesso as an adhesive and to create texture in a number of ways. I also used it as a primer it is.
During the live I refer to this older video (link). It's a part of a series with three different gessos, white, black and clear. In those videos I share ideas how to use the medium.
After filming I let the project dry, like I said, and then added some color to the "ground". Just a touch of brown and black to give it a bit more of a ground look than snow. If you want to see more pictures of the sample project or a materials list with links, please head over to the announcement post (link).
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a splendid Wednesday!
