Moikka! Last Saturday was a graduation day to many students. My daughters's cousin got his white Finnish student cap after taking the matriculation examination. This was the card we gave him.
I wanted to make a bit darker card and started the background with greens and browns and then added more brown on top. I also used several stencils to pattern the background.
I used a Tim Holtz paper doll for the focal point and added the student cap on top. He got some backdrop from leaves and white roses. The leaves are done using an A.B.Studio stamp and roses are cut from a 12x12 sheet from "Follow the Rabbit" collection. The golden lyre on the bottom right corner is the same cockade that's in the front of the cap. More about the Finnish student cap here (link).
