Moikka! It's Friday again! This week went so fast as it was Easter Monday on Monday and the week is thus only four days! But as it's Friday, that means that it's video day. Today I'm sharing a project made for Paper Garden, a Finnish online shop.
I made this project quite a while ago. I drew the inspiration for these from the blue postal stamps each card has. They are blue Finnish postal stamps with the Finnish coat of arms lion on them. I used blue as the main color otherwise, too.
As you can see from the video below, I started by making a tiny collage for each card. You can't see that so much after all the layers, but it's there. On top I then added different mediums - white gesso, Infusions and then inks. The top most layer is then the Tim Holtz's paperdolls, flowers, postage stamps and a text sticker. If you want to see how I made the cards, pleas see the video below!
Blue is my favorite color and it was great to make a project with so much blue! First inspiration out of the postal stamps and then continuing to mediums and flowers!
Thank you so much for stopping by today! Wishing you a great weekend! Don't forget the live tomorrow!
