Friday! It's been a beautiful spring day today. I'm also loving all the distraction that creative people are doing amid this special occasion. I'm working normally for the time being, naturally being cautious and keeping that safety distance to everyone.
But today I'm sharing a couple of cards using Sizzix dies and I recorded a video while working on these! Hopefully you like it!
The idea to these cards came from the Thinlits "Stacked Tiles Hexagons" die set. I thought those hexagons looked exactly like pieces of fabric, like a quilt. So I created a mixed media sheet first using monoprinting for example and then cut that in pieces with the dies.
For the other one I stacked the tiles on top of each other and for the other I just adhered them next to each other, using just one of the sizes in the set. Which one you prefer?
If you are at home I guess a short video like this won't keep you entertained for long. So, you can naturally browse my YouTube channel (link), if there's something other you haven't seen before or then head over to Sizzix site to see what's new. There's for example "Craft Month Promotions" (link) going on with different discounts each day, a spring sale (link) and a competition (link)!
Thank you for stopping by today! Stay safe, everyone!
Ps. Oh gosh, I should update the channel introduction video!

Super cute cards and a good idea with the hexagon dies I'll think I have to find my dies too.
