Hiya and great Friday! Fri-yay, in fact as I've planned some crafty time for myself tomorrow! Do you have weekend plans?
This layout is done for Prima, for a Pinspiration post. You can see the whole post here (link) with a great set of different projects. My inspiration came from a painting in my Pinterest board. You can see the pin here (link).
Recently I’ve been really drawn to acrylics. And spring makes me always want to grab yellow. So I combined these two in this project. I loved the way the colors were layered in the original painting and how it had kind of a pastel feel to it. I mimicked the look with Finnabair acrylics and white gesso and made an unique background. If you want to make one, you just need some paints, a silicone brush and then let yourself loose! Use the silicone brush to apply the paint on top of the paper and make it yours!
On top of that background I then documented a costume my daughter asked for her sixth birthday – a carrot princess. Like I said with a sticker near the photo – only you, only her can think of something like that!
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you all a great weekend!
