Christmas tree cards - Prima Marketing

Have you seen the Prima's 12 Days of Christmas posts yet? This year the company did the series a bit differently and covered the 12 days just in three posts - fun, right? That way you could see all the yummy and beautiful projects faster and have time to make some of your own for the Holidays! The main element in these cards are the lovely Christmas trees from the “Snow Santa” Adhesive Rub-Ons set. The cards are done for the Day 5 feature of Christine Adolph.

I treated the patterned paper underneath the rub ons with gesso to have a subtle pattern but not too heavy to overpower the trees. I also used snowflakes from the same set adhered on top of a transparency and embossed with white embossing powder as my embellishments. 

I also used the Jolly foil set to add some sparkle to the edges of the cards. First I treated the edge of the paper with the Planner Glue Pen and then added the foil on top. This way I got a lovely weathered, random look to the edge. 

The greetings in the cards reflect what I hope for the Holiday season and onwards – happy, joyful Holidays and peace to the world.
