Happy Saturday everyone! Wishing you a lot of crafty time during the weekend! Maybe work on your art journal? Ha, can you see me making a transition to today's post?
So today I have an art journal spread to share. It was created for Prima and posted earlier this week to the company blog (link). There's also a great Bible journal piece and another captivating art journal spread in the post so you need to check it out!
So today I have an art journal spread to share. It was created for Prima and posted earlier this week to the company blog (link). There's also a great Bible journal piece and another captivating art journal spread in the post so you need to check it out!
Instead of using an art journal for this piece I went with a Memory Hardware album. What’s great about using that is that it allows me to add dimension to the spreads and still closes! I mean if I would have added those bulky roses and layered Wood Veneers to my art journal it would never have closed again!
I started with some paper layering and then added different mediums on top. There's also stamping in there. On top I then layered a doily and some Veneers and alphas.
The idea behind the spread is not to cut the wings of your dreams but instead work for and towards them. You should make each day count like the word sticker says.
Thank you for stopping by today!
