Fly - A Flair for Buttons

Happy Halloween everyone! This page doesn't have bats but some winged inspiration after all. It was published yesterday on A Flair for Buttons blog (link).

As you probably already know, this summer we took a plane to Berlin for a vacation. It was the first time for my daughters to be on an airplane and it was all very exciting for them. They were thrilled to go to an airport, leave our luggage and get their passports checked. On the plane they loved seeing the landscapes from the window. Thus the photo.

I again wanted to use several lovely flair buttons in my page and rummaged through the ones I have. I found three purple ones, every one from a different set that looked good together. One of them even had a very suitable word on it, "fly" so that acts also as the title of the page. That button is from the "Pink Butterfly" set. The other two are from "Watercolor Designs 2" and "Watercolor Splatter"

I started the page with some mist, acrylic paint and gesso. I highlighted the motion of the plane not only with the striped background paper but also with the silver washi tape. So let's fly!

Hope you liked the layout! Until next time!
