Hello there! And happy (inter)National Scrapbooking Day! I guess the saying in the card goes really well for this day - do what makes you happy. Scrapbooking makes me happy!
But back to the card. It's done for the May challenge over at Craft Stamper blog. The theme is potato stamping! I carved a simple shape from my potato, the triangle, but you should definitely visit the reveal post in the CS blog to see how marvelous stamps some of the teamies made!
For my card I used the potato with Gelatos. I colored the potato surface with the crayon and then stamped in straight to the card base. The happy, bright background didn't need much decoration so I added just a few strips of tape and the stamped greeting.

Heippa! Ja iloista kansainvälistä skräppäyspäivää! Kortin sanoma taitaa sopia ainakin osaltani hyvin tähän päivään - tee sitä mikä tekee sinut iloiseksi. Skräppäys tekee minut iloiseksi!
Mutta takaisin korttiin. Tein sen Craft Stamperin toukokuun haasteeseen. Aiheena haasteessa on tällä kertaa perunaleimaus. Minä muotoilin perunani yksinkertaiseksi kolmioksi, mutta kannattaa ehdottomasti käydä kurkkaamassa millaisia luomuksia tiimiläiset tekivät!
Käytin leimaamiseen tässä kortissa Gelatos-liituja. Väritin perunan pinnan liidulla ja sitten leimailin kuviota suoraan korttipohjaan. Iloinen, värikäs tausta ei kaivannut paljon koristeita, joten lisäsin vaan muutaman teipin palan sekä leimasin toivotuksen.
