Moikka! Often times I have some left-overs from a project when I'm crafting. Sometimes I store some items, sometimes I recycle them but this time I decided to use them immediately.
If you visited my blog yesterday, you saw a set of ATCs. If you then look closely to this art journal page, you might pick out a lot of elements that I used in those cards, too. The background is another piece of the same cardstock piece I colored using the new super granulating watercolors. There's the self-made tape pieces adding a little bit of vintage feel here and there. And there's also a cut-out piece from a 49 and Market film strip that was left on the craft table when I cut the individual frames for the ATCs.
The additional elements include a piece of a brown paper bag, some sewing thread, old buttons and two Idea-ology items - the journaling and a die-cut. I even used the same die set from Sizzix as I did with the ATCs. There I cut the elements out of black cardstock, here I used an old gel print in orange tones.
