Moikka moi and happy new week! Today I'm sharing a mini canvas that came into being almost all by its own.
I've mentioned that I've been painting more lately. This particular piece started as a palette for a painting I was doing at work. I found this piece of wood from the trash and decided to use that as my palette. In the end, I liked the look of that so much that I let it dry and took it home to be used as a background. I added some Posca marker doodles on top, but otherwise left the background as it was. On top I then layered a cut out branch from an A.B.Studio paper, some Idea-ology elements and also a stamped and embossed silver embellishment behind her head. To match the vintage photo to the purple palette, I used an alcohol ink marker to add some color to her dress and head bow.
Thank you for stopping by today! Wishing you a pleasant day!
Materials: PaperArtsy, Posca, Tim Holtz Idea-ology, A.B.Studio, Ranger
