A free spirit - Prima Marketing

Hello there! Have you stopped by Prima blog lately? There's all sorts of exciting things there, like announcement of the new Prima planners! But some days ago there was a post about Fiber Arts there with a few great projects. Here's the link to Prima blog (link) to that post. One of those projects was mine.

One of my favorite Intagrammers is Tina Walker. I follow her blog, too, but I love how she’s able to inspire me with the pure photos, too. Her art is versatile but what I love the most are the fabric and fiber pieces. She has such a way with materials and always is able to manipulate them in a totally new way. Each piece of hers has a ton of inspiration for at least a dozen projects!

This piece is inspired by her and her way of using materials and fibers in collages and mixed media pieces. I used the Gypsy Cords to make the background and then made the “spirit” on top using Relics and Artifacts, Trims and the fabric pack from Finnabair line. I had so much doing this piece!

Thank you for visiting today!
