Riikka Kovasin - Paperiliitin: Under the sea

Hi there! It's time to share two layouts using the new ScrapFX chippies! This time the new collection was underwater and vacation themed and I ended up doing two pages with relatively same colored background but with a totally different topic!

My first page takes us under the sea. The pictures is taken in an aquarium as I've never visited any place that tropical and even if I had, I don't dive that good! After seeing "Finding Nemo" every exotic underwater scene reminds me of the movie and I guess then it's no wonder why "Beyond the sea / La Mer" started playing in my head when I looked at the picture. Thus the title. The journaling talks about how great it is to see the under water world in aquariums.

I started the page with some stamping using the seahorse stamp. Then I used Light Paste on top through the "Seaweed" stencil so that the ink reacted with the paste. Then I used great many embossing powders while coloring the two sizes of the "Sea Scene" corners. There's green, white, yellow, sparkling orange and white pearl in them - to name a few. Besides the corners I used a tag like piece from "Travel Definitions" set as embellishment.
