Family - 7 Dots Studio

Hello there! Even though I stepped down as a designer to Scrap Around The World I still got to play with the challenge and have something in the blog as 7 Dots Studio team had a guest post there. Here's a link to the post showing all the creations together in Scrap Around The World blog!

Here's my page inspired by the beautiful mood board Karita has made. I was inspired by the color scheme and the romantic feel the board has. I also included a frame to my layout (from the bottom right image), crackled butterfly (inspired by the weathered paint in top right image) and a doily (inspired by the lace in top left image).

I started the page by adding a piece of vellum to the background and then added some gesso, mists and stamping on top. I really had fun treating the resin frame with different paints and mists trying to mimic the patina look the ones in the mood board had. The topic of the page are my two daughters or rather my family. I added the journaling to the page after I had taken the photo.

Talking about design teams, have you noticed something new on my side bar? I've joined the ScrapFX team and shall be sharing my first creations with their product in the end of this month! So exciting!

Thank you for visiting today! Wishing you a lovely day!
