Riikka Kovasin - Paperiliitin: Listen

Yesterday it was my day to post to 7 Dots Studio's blog together with Wiosanka. I shared two layouts there, both done with the new collections. Or rather, done partly with the new collections as mixing and matching is my greatest joy! By the way, talking about joy - have you noticed the new Scrap Around The World challenge? For the two pages I used the “Thoughts Keeper” mainly but mixed some of the older collections in and also added a few touches of the other new ones. This layout is done about my younger daughter. She’s a real darling and sweet girl, but sometimes it would be nice if she was listening what she’s being said. It’s almost comical how she can reply something to a question and it’s nothing even closely near to the thing that is the current topic. She's our little clown and the world is her stage.

I cut several stars from a “Thoughts Keeper” paper using two different star punches. I used the same punches to piece a paper from “Illumination” collection, too. Then I layered them across my page and added some acrylic paint, stamping and diecuts in the mix.
