Scrap365 Blog Party!

The new issue of Scrap365 magazine is now on sale with more pages and projects than ever. To celebrate a fresh new look with more inspirational pages Scrap365 is hosting a huge blog party all week! There are fabulous giveaways up for grabs too. Party and hop all week and collect clues from the team to win a brilliant new Cricut Mini worth £129! Scroll down for full competition details below.

For the hop I made this layout abut our new elevator - sort of a new beginning. Our elevator was under a renovation at the end of last year. We live on the 7th floor, so it was quite exciting four weeks to climb the stairs with two kids. I wanted to document this everyday moment, too, for my daughters.

The journaling is hidden inside that brown paper bag and it's written on a tag. On the background I stamped with embossing folders using Glimmer Mist. You could try with water reactive inks, too, but I found it much easier to use mists. I also made this little video about the technique.
